"The space is beautifully curated. The coffee and pastries were better than the actual meal. I had an omelette with pumpkin flowers and it was disappointingly bland."

"From 100s of cafes to pick from, we decided to give this one a try. The avocado toast was one of the best in the city, they smash the avocado instead of slices everywhere else. The banana bread was delicious and so was the power yogurt bowl. Beautiful ambiance inside and out with lots of wall deco around. The tea boutique was great and we ended up buying a few different teas. Highly recommend and will definitely be back"

"We had chilaquiles on their beautiful patio. The patio was a lovely oasis from the business of the city. I got the chilaquiles verde and my husband got the chilaquiles Roja. Both were the best chilaquiles we’ve ever! The service was amazing and they were super accommodating and allergy aware! Everyone was so friendly and attentive. On top of the beautiful ambience, fantastic service and great food their teas were absolutely delicious!"

"We had a wonderful breakfast at Café Toscano! I had the avocado toast, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My husband ordered the omelet, and it was perfectly cooked with generous, delicious fillings. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly. Definitely a spot we would love to return to!"

"I loveed the place, the staff were friendly especially Esbeide she was lovely and friendly. My food option wasn't nice and I want to say it again get service was lovely but for me this dish wasn't. The chicken was chewy and so bland no taste. I changed my dish to avocado and toast it was delicious ."

"Right up the street from the Hyatt where I was staying. Jesus did a wonderful job, we sat outside and enjoyed delicious food, cappuccinos and many local musicians performed on the street while we were dining."

"Café Toscano is a very pleasant spot with friendly service and quite good food. The space has an eclectic style, with varied furniture and decoration, so no two tables feel the same. It gives the place a lot of character, though it can make it a bit challenging to accommodate larger groups, especially parties of more than four people. Prices are in line with what you’d expect for a restaurant in Polanco. They accept credit cards, and overall it’s a nice option for a relaxed meal in the area."

"No English menus (not expected, just appreciated). Our waitress spoke some English, which was nice. There is indoor and a lot of outdoor seating. Outdoor seating felt a slightly cramped. The number of vendors walking through, trying to sell stuff, was a little annoying. Vendors aside, the outdoor area does have a nice ambiance about it. Food was tasty. Coffee was tiny. Juice was also very fresh tasting. Service was slow. Maybe it was because they were busy, but it felt like we were abandoned after we had received our food. Waitress never checked on us after that. It also took awhile to finally get the attention of our waitress to get a to-go box, and again to ask for our check."
